Killian Mansfield was the artist’s former student, who lost his five year battle against synovial sarcoma, a rare form of cancer, at the age of 16, in 2009. This exhibition, in honor of his eighteenth birthday, will be a commemoration of Killian’s life and legacy, The Killian Mansfield Foundation.
The Foundation’s mission is “to empower children with cancer and other serious illnesses through integrative health care dedicated to treating the whole child- mind, body and spirit.”
